Orange Caramel // My Copycat

Me he pasado la última semana obsesionada con la nueva canción de Orange Caramel, quienes son por mucho mi girlgroup favorito de k-pop, y el día de ayer, mientras repetía el single de forma insana e intentaba copiar los pasos de la coreografía, me pareció que era una mejor idea usar toda esa energía en hacer un par de garabatos inspirados en el video, que es por cierto puro eye candy y ¡todos deberían verlo!

Fractura Fanzine Collab

A few months ago, Stephanie, a dear friend of mine asked me to collaborate with her in a fanzine that she had been working on for a while, and now that the zine is out this little illustration can finally see the light and i can share it with the world! You can read (and SHOULD read) the first edition of Fractura Fanzine HERE, the theme is wanderlust, featuring tons of incredibly talented mexican photographers, interviews with Dave Ma, LSA and Sonido Gallo Negro, a Wild Beasts gig review as well a really cool article written by another good friend of mine (hey there Paz!). I'm super pumped about this and really proud of Steph for pulling this off and i really really hope you all read her zine cause it is SUPER SUPER GOOD. Take care friends!

Little sketchbook

one of my favorite things when traveling is to visit museums and of course their gift shops, i've been lucky enough to find really cheap stuff like some watercolor sketchbooks that were on sale at the Tate Modern (£1.00 each, it was insane!) or the little sketchbooks i bought when i visited the Fundación Mapfre museum in Madrid, they have impressionist paintings on their covers, very very pretty. the pages you see here are from the last of these sketchbooks. i hope i get to find more of these next time i visit a museum gift shop :)

Playlist: Favorite songs of 2013!

When it comes to music, 2013 was kind of a weird year for me. I sort of lost interest in a lot of bands that I used to like a lot, and very few new albums caught my attention, I feel like, either I became too lazy to listen to new music when I actually have a lot of old music that I have to listen to or I just got tired of listening to new alternative bands because it all started to sound the same to me, to be honest I have no idea, I guess closing cycles and taking distance from the stuff you used to love is a part of growing up?

Anyway, I think 2013 was a good year for music and a lot of cool songs were released, so I wanted to share some of my favorites with you in the form of a playlist! I crafted this list very carefully and with a lot of love so that all of you can enjoy it from beginning to end despite how eclectic it may be, hah ♪(๑ᴖ◡ᴖ๑)♪

大きくなる子 //trip down memory lane

Un tributo a "Niños en Crecimiento" (大きくなる子), uno de mis programas favoritos cuando tenía como 4 o 5 años. Mi personaje favorito era Andrés (だいすけ/Daisuke en Japón), un tigrito que era muy tímido e introvertido. ¿Alguien más se acuerda de este programa? (ॢ˘⌣˘ ॢ⑅)

Sketchbook

Estas son algunas de las páginas del sketchbook que estoy a punto de terminar, la verdad lo empecé con mucha inseguridad y sentía que lo iba a arruinar jaja, pero al final terminé con un montón de páginas atascadas de garabatos que me gustaron mucho. Al principio pensé que sólo iba a usar acuarela pero conforme iban pasando las hojas fui usando muchos otros materiales y experimenté con formas y estilos y estoy muy contenta porque va a quedar muy gordito cuando ya esté todo todo repleto de dibujos *✧₊✪͡◡ू✪͡
